Job Summary and Objectives 

To develop and deliver people management strategies which support UIC overall strategic aims and objectives. Also to contribute at both a strategic and operational level in order to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions which support business aims, in addition to providing a customer-focused HR service. To provide expert professional advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of people management, which fully reflects the company’s desire to be an employer of choice, current employment legislation and best practice

 

Duties

Recruitment and talent acquisition:  

1. Develop and upgrade plans for the company’s manpower needs, develop a plan to secure the approved needs through recruitment, training, promotion, and transfer and submit it for approval according to the authorities and according to the estimated budget.
2. Working on building a strong brand for the company and promoting the company’s culture in coordination with the Marketing Department in order to get the best candidates:
     - Participation in various trade fairs.
     - Participation in job fairs.
     - Constant monitoring of business social media to search for potential talent.
     - Training programs for excellent students from different universities.
3. Upgrading employment plans and contracting with employees, whether from inside or outside.
4. Analyzing the results of the examinations and the selected candidates.
5. Supervising the plan for distributing new employees in the different organizational units.

 

Human Resource Management:  

1. Maintaining and developing strategic plans for employee’s management in coordination with the top management in line with the company's strategic objectives.
2. Establishing a payroll system that takes into account fairness, and a good analysis of the entitlements of employee’s talents and the basic functions to ensure their retention.
3. Analyzing and reviewing employee evaluation reports and determining bonuses and promotions based on the company's general policy.
4. Supervising the preparation of promotions and bonuses lists for employees in the company
5. Supervising the procedures for employee termination of services and final clearance.
6. Supervising the taking of penalties and disciplinary measures against employees who violate the regulations and the application of the instructions and procedures approved in the human resources manual.
7. Executing employee satisfaction measurement plans.
8. Submitting recommendations and suggestions on the progress of work to top management

 

Training and Development: 

1. Follow up on the processes of developing lists of approved training centers, evaluating and constantly updating them.
2. Supervising the development of the training plan in coordination with the different departments and analyzing the return on training.
3. Supervising the employee performance appraisal process, whether during the probationary period or at the end of the year.
4. Develop a succession or replacement plan:
     - Identification leadership and supervisory positions that, through the absence of a vacancy, threaten the conduct of the
       company's activities and business.
     - Determine the names nominated to be a substitute for the vacant positions.
     - Knowing what skills or knowledge these names lack in order to perform these jobs to the fullest.
     - Preparing the necessary development programs to qualify the alternative names to be ready in the event of the absence of
       responsible individuals or their leaving company.
     - Preparing a job description for all the jobs offered in the company and working to renew it if necessary.
5. Carrying out any work assigned to him by the top management that is related to the nature of their work.

 

Administrative Affairs:: 

1. Supervising the plans and programs for administrative affairs in order to achieve the company's objectives.
2. Follow-up of the archive department in coordination with the admin Section.
3. Follow up on the company's public relations department, and follow up on the application of public relations policies and
procedures that enhance the company's reputation at internally and externally.
4. Supervising the formulation and preparation of administrative affairs procedures.
5. Supervising the contracting operations with security and guard companies, as well as cleaning companies, to create a good work environment.
6. Develop administrative procedures that deal with administrative services in the company.

 

Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: 

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, business administration or similar fields, preferably holders of higher degrees (Master's or fellowships in the field of Human Resources Management).
2. At least 15+ years of experience in human resource management.
3. Excellent communication skills both in Arabic and English.
4. Good knowledge of human resource management software & systems.
